Raahhh... eets fineeeshed! But ya... since I got my computer reformatted, I was able to snag myself the trial of oC 4 again--its awesome. ;D I'd had it before but apperently I downloaded it before it was translated into English, since everything was in Japanese and there was no place to switch it to English like previous versions... so I didn't know what the crap half the stuff was when I first used it. But now I finally got to use it again. :D

This is my kinda-alt, kinda-main character that I play on World of Warcraft (on the Thorium Brotherhood realm) Kaihne, a lvl 28 Undead Priest. I colored Kaihne in oC 4 then took it into Photoshop CS to do the spell effects as well as other colors adjustments and the background. And yes... I cheated by using a screenshot. :P

And look, no lines!

EDIT AUGUST 1, 2007: New version. Lookit. [link]

I'd like to know how much is screenshot and how much is your own. That's incredibly nice... and if it isn't tightly based off of a screenie I'd say submit it to the Blizzard Fanart program. If it isn't that tightly based then hey it's worth a shot eh?

Regardless, holyfreakingcrapawesome. o_o

Well now, I guess that wasn't so bad.

Aaagh *falls on the ground* awsome :wow: Incredible, outstanding, etc, etc, etc and I don't give a damn if it's based on a screencap, you're a reat artist and that's all :w00t:

I'll post up the original image later today, but I can't right now since I'm in school on my laptop. XD

Basically, I took a screenshot, pasted it into Photoshop, then traced over all the polygons on another layer and blinked out the original screenie. I created a another new layer, going over the original trace, making it smoother and more natural. I refered to the original screenshot a little bit while coloring, but mainly just to color-drop my base colors. The background is all my own. ^_^ In the end it doesn't look very much like the original screenshot, so I think it'd be fine to submit to Blizzard. Now I only have to figure out how... x_X

I like the effect you've got going! Intense colors look great, and you've got the shading down pat :D Great job!

Alright, that's fine then. ;p Proportions and color selection aside then, bang up colorin' job! *thumbs up*
