I always find photographing plushies really difficult o: I never know whether to try to do something with the background or leave it plain, add text or not, etcetcetc.

BUT. I made myself a lightbox and wanted to play with theatrical lighting SOOOO...here is the result, since I wasn't really happy with the lighting on my first attempt at photographing these dolls. PS: it's actually really easy to do make a lightbox - just google 'DIY lightbox'. I made one with a cardboard box, an old white sheet, posterboard and lots of duct tape. xD

These two are 16-inches tall and super squishy and cuddly, made primarily of blizzard and anti-pill fleece, with hand-painted faces.

Just so that there's no confusion: these two were photographed seperately and then editted together in Photoshop. I reversed Harley's image so that she would sit better in the composition. (So her grin would actually be on the other side, etc.)

I have two new plushies coming up very soon, so also keep an eye out for that.

These are so awesome. Joker's just devilishly evil looking as always, great work on the facial expressions btw, and Harley's just adorable. I need to figure out how to make these light boxes soon if I get a camera for my puppets.
