I finished these months ago, but never got around to finish editing the pictures to post them. xD A couple of World of Warcraft blood elves, Torandier (right) and Rhaeda (left).

They're a couple, so I tried to put kissy magnets in their faces to have them smooch...but apparently the magnets weren't strong enough, 'cause they don't actually stick to each other. :c If anyone has tips on putting magnets in plushies, I'd REALLY REALLY appreciate it. The magnets I used were SUPAH STRENGTH CERAMIC ones, but it still wasn't strong enough to have them stick through several layers of fleece+hot glue.

Characters belong to ~reichisaurus and ~h4ppymich3ll3

Also, school's out, which means I'm available for COMMISSIONS~ So please contact me if interested. :> Pricing and such info is located on the main page of my gallery.

idk if you're still looking for advice on magnets, but I recently made a pair of magnetic plush. I used some small magnets I got from Home Depot, as they were super strong, and they actually became stronger stacking them up. To get my plush to stick together I used 3 of them stacked on top of each other and affixed them inside the dolls... these are the plush I used the magnets on, by the way: [link]

:D ?

by the way I love these dolls, your hand-painted details are really nice! ;3;

Awesome, thanks! I haven't tried doing another magnet set yet, so any pointers are super helpful. <33

I think the ceramic ones you get in craft stores aren't all that strong compared to neodymium magnets-- I got some on e-bay and they would stick through two layers of fleece fairly well, though three was pushing it. I put the glue on the back instead of in between the magnet and the cloth, and it worked pretty well. : ) By the way those are beautiful! I especially love their eyes and the ruffly shirt. ^_^

Thanks for the tip! I'm a little confused, though. If you put the glue on the back, what does it stick to? /dummyhat

I sort of smear it all over the back of the magnet and around the sides, so it sticks to the cloth around the sides of the magnet. It lets the magnet be right up against the cloth and keeps it in place. I hope it helps! I tried the ceramic magnets on my first magnet doll and I vastly prefer the neodymium. ^_^
